Hey Kevin JC! Thanks so much for reading and supporting. I’m currently working on some articles and ‘pain points’ is one of them but here are some points:
- Collaboration — a lot of people transitioning think that ux is up to a minimal collaboration but it’s super collaborative whether you’re in a team or not because you need to gauge on a lot of clarity and confirmation.
- Sometimes you skip some parts or you have to keep some parts on your own: meaning some clients will only ask for high fidelity (meaning you don’t have to present wireframes), for research, in some cases, you don’t have enough time to do this so, at times, we have to skip them :( (but try to make use of your internal department to do quick tests or even your family and friends, join groups, etc.
- A lot of problems to solve. It’s fine! prioritized these by ensuring which is crucial for your users and business.
- Fight. (I’m kidding) but sometimes it’s hard to fight for your designs especially when you need to bridge with development. Some designs are not possible to develop.
- There are a lot more I’ll be sharing in the next article. It will be posted next week. Please remember that if you hit a roadblock, don’t get discouraged. It gets better overtime and you learn a lot on the job! :)
Thank you and all the best to you!
